Sourcing Story

Harmony Matcha was created in collaboration with Takayuki Oyaizu, a third-generation Japanese tea master whose family has dedicated decades to the craft of tea in Shizuoka.

For this matcha, Oyaizu-san carefully selected shade-grown tencha from tea gardens in Kagoshima and Shizuoka, bringing together the sweetness and vibrant color of southern Japan with the clarity and balance of Shizuoka’s teas. At the heart of the blend is the Okumidori cultivar, valued for its smooth character, gentle umami, and naturally low bitterness.

After harvest, the leaves are slowly stone-milled into a fine emerald powder, preserving the tea’s delicate aroma and silky texture.

Harmony Matcha reflects the philosophy behind Brook37 Tea Atelier: thoughtful sourcing, respect for tradition, and the belief that the finest teas begin with the people who grow and craft them.

At Brook37, every tea tells a story. Harmony Matcha begins in Japan and continues wherever your ritual begins.

Ceremonial-grade green matcha tea is the highest quality matcha, made from carefully selected shade-grown tea leaves that are stone-milled into an ultra-fine powder. It is intended to be enjoyed on its own with water rather than blended with sweeteners.

Harmony Matcha green tea offers smooth umami, natural sweetness, gentle vegetal notes, and minimal bitterness, creating a balanced and approachable cup.

Harmony Matcha is crafted from tea gardens located in Kagoshima and Shizuoka, two of Japan's most celebrated tea-growing regions.

Yes. Matcha naturally contains caffeine. As the entire tea leaf is consumed in the form of matcha green tea powder, a more concentrated source of caffeine in matcha green tea is found than in traditional steeped green tea.

Absolutely. While crafted as a ceremonial-grade matcha, you can use our Harmony Matcha green tea powder; its smooth texture and balanced flavor make it ideal for matcha lattes and modern recipes.

The vibrant emerald color harmony green tea matcha powder comes from shade-growing techniques that increase chlorophyll and amino acid production in the tea leaves before harvest.

Measure 2g of matcha into a bowl, add hot water (175°F), and whisk until a fine foam forms on the surface.

Yes. The balanced flavor profile and smooth energy of Japan matcha green tea make it an excellent choice for daily rituals and mindful wellness routines.

Store your high-quality matcha green tea powder in an airtight container away from light, moisture, and heat. For optimal freshness, enjoy within a few weeks after opening.
