Sunset in Hollywood

Enjoying a late afternoon cup of Sunset in Hollywood from Brook 37. This is a wonderful Darjeeling second flush black tea. As advised, I brewed with 185°F water for four minutes. The result is perfection. It’s delicious on its own, but I also like it with a splash of almond milk.

An afternoon of Jane Austen, TeaTime Magazine and Brook37 Tea Atelier tea. I haven’t drank this Sunset in Hollywood tea for a few weeks, oh my goodness, I completely forget just how absolutely fabulous a tea it really is. This coppery brown, carefully twisted, whole leaf blend with glossy bloom and couple of tippy buds is an all time favourite of the tea connoisseurs. Fabulous Darjeeling, as you would expect light notes of vegetal and moss, the aroma was very pleasant and slightly fruity.

This evening I have Brook37 Sunset in Hollywood. This is a Second Flush Darjeeling. It's super smooth an delicious. I can see why Darjeeling is lauded as the Champagne of teas!

This is a delicious tea, accurately described on the lovely tin: “Coppery brown carefully twisted Darjeeling whole leaf blend with glossy bloom and tippy buds carries a sweet but natural wild floral fruity character floral”. That really says it all! This Darjeeling second flush black tea is another example of the superb offerings from Brook37.

This might be my favorite of the four black teas. It has a slightly sweet, fruity aroma and the flavor profile is mellow, light, and refreshing. There's a slight earthiness to it and the faintest hint of astringency. If I had to choose just one to buy over and over, this would be it.
