I returned from my England trip to find the lovely Aurum gift box from Brook37 has been delivered, and what resonated with me most about this collection was that it featured my two preferred flavoured blends, Bengal Chai and Phyllis Earl Grey. The packaging is consistently elegant, making it ideal for gifting. Additionally, I enjoyed how the tea strainer replaced the infuser in this collection.

This tea has a sweet aroma and is very smooth and rich. I’m drinking it plain right not but think it would go well with cream.

Today’s sampling is Ivory Wonder from Brook37. Brook37 Tea Atelier This is actually one of my top 5 favorite white teas. It’s unflavored and perfect alone or with flavors added. It also makes an amazing iced tea. Hot or cold, I sweeten it with sugar.  It’s very delicate yet flavorful at the same time but not overwhelming if that makes sense. I recommend adding this tea to your collection if you haven’t already done so.

As soon as you open the package, a luxurious chocolate aroma fills the air, accented by a subtle note of ginger that invites you in. The brew itself had a sweet black tea base—strongly spiced with deep chocolate notes. It’s cinnamon-forward and naturally sweetened with licorice, though the licorice isn’t discernible in the taste.
I tried my second cup with organic whole milk and a teaspoon of local honey. The chocolate and spiced taste became richer and creamier—a delicious chocolate-spiced dessert tea! 🍯☕

From the moment I opened the packaging, the earthy blend was slightly peppery and overall complex but fully embracing the senses. After reading the ingredients, I felt this was a tea that I could feel good about drinking not just for the relaxation but for the potential wellness benefits.
This was not a chocolate forward tea but a very well balanced blend with a harmonious lingering sensation that was a bit spicy but warm and gentle with nothing overpowering the senses. I prefer to add a bit of sweetness to this blend to bring out the cocoa flavors and soften the earthiness just a nudge for my personal preference.

I enjoyed my tea from Brook37 so much yesterday that I was really pumped to try another today: a black-tea-based flavored blend entitled “Chocolate Hangover” 🫢🤤
It is aptly named, because the chocolate in this is simply divine! It pairs well with the ginger and cinnamon, too, and features ashwagandha - an ingredient I have a secret obsession with. It’s an adaptogenic superfood that helps the body deal with stress… and it also happens to enhance anything chocolatey. Yum!! The overall effect is a really tasty tea that’s good any time of year, but particularly now with all the spiced teas! I must have more!! 😃😋😍🙌🏻🍁🍂🫖🍵🤎

It’s been a cooler here in Texas, so I decided to enjoy this tea hot and it was absolutely lovely. The aroma alone is so soothing and fresh, setting the tone for a calm start to the day. The flavor is light, delicately sweet, and beautifully pure. The fact that this tea is just white tea and nothing else truly speaks wonders. It’s amazing how something so simple can taste so refined. I paired this with a cucumber sandwich, and it made for such a peaceful and refreshing moment.

This is a lovely infusion of smooth black tea, rich chocolate flavor, spicy ginger and black pepper notes, and subtle cinnamon and licorice sweetness. I love the simultaneous relaxing and energizing properties of the additional herbs in this tea - this is truly an expertly crafted blend for the mind and body! It’s very warming hot and could be delicious as a dessert tea. It’s a nice chocolatey treat iced as well!
