The tea that almost got away!

I had this one in my cart and talked myself out of it. This is the third tea I’ve had from Brook37 but as with the others, this one did not disappoint. I found this to be a rather complex tea and had to tell myself to quit trying to figure out all the notes and just enjoy it. The dry leaves are beautiful quality in both appearance and smell. The tea itself is a perfect champagne color. The smell in your cup: a combination of citrus (bergamot came to mind) and a floral I could not pinpoint. Flavors: a bit of plum, peach, and possibly fig with just a whisper of citrus. I cannot imagine adding anything to this tea as far as milk, cream, or sweeteners but to each their own. I’d order more of this in a heartbeat. (And I still may!)

Moonlight Magic

This is my favorite so far of all the Brook 37 teas! I brewed it to the 5 minutes( cause I enjoy a stronger tea). The lovely long leaves brew up a specular cup of tea. For me it didn’t need anything added to it. Everything time I brew a cup when I take my first sip I always say “This is such a great tea”. Thank you Brook 37!

Moonlight wonder!

My absolute favorite teas have been the ones I got from Brook37 Tea Atelier, I love them but kind of ration them out so they last. I will be able to indulge more often. So here I go having a Moonlight Stroll in the middle of a cloudy afternoon. Thank you so much

Absolutely delicious!

I finally tried my Brooke37 Moonlight Stroll. It definitely lives up to its stellar reputation & reviews Ive read here! The flavor of this extraordinary Darjeeling is subtle, delicate, and exquisite. I prepared it as suggested on the tin (though I might have been slightly more generous with the amount of leaves that I used) and steeped for 3 minutes. I added nothing whatsoever to this lovely tea.
Somehow, I didnt realize, until reading the text on the beautiful canister, that Brooke37 has a female founder, an all-women production team and strong ethical values. This was definitely impressive and only adds to their credentials. Well done!

Sourcing Story

This Himalayan garden is one of the most esteemed and oldest tea estates of Darjeeling and qualitatively listed amongst the top of the Darjeeling Estates with a loyal fan-following worldwide. The garden spans across 350 hectares, but this small batch of rare teas came in only 45 lbs that was solely sold to Brook37.

Plucking of Moonlight Stroll is a rare tea plucking ritual that takes place only on full moon nights, with the help of manmade torches, accompanied by ceremony of traditional singing and dancing. The ceremony usually starts when the moon is the brightest in the evening and continues till midnight. The tea is protected from sunlight after plucking to ensure that the tea’s aroma and consistency is not altered.
