Description

Moonlight Stroll is the rarest tea in our collection. It is grown in Darjeeling in the foothills of the Himalayas, at a height of over 4000 feet. It is handpicked only on a full moon night, and it never sees the sunlight after the plucking.

These velvety Oolong leaves, along with thick silvery buds give out a sweet flowery aromatic fragrance with a refreshing, invigorating natural flavor of tea.

Plucking of Moonlight Stroll is a rare tea plucking ritual that takes place only on full moon nights, with the help of manmade torches, accompanied by ceremony of traditional singing and dancing. The ceremony usually starts when the moon is the brightest in the evening and continues till midnight. The tea is protected from sunlight after plucking to ensure that the tea’s aroma and consistency is not altered.
