Phyllis Earl Grey Eco

The first tea I'm trying from Brook37 Tea Atelier is Phyllis Earl Grey. This tea was very interesting! I love Earl Grey so I was very excited to try this special blend. The fruity and floral notes really take this Earl Grey to another level! Lavender and bergamot are the first things I taste but then I got a hint of pineapple that really pairs so well. The fruit also added a nice sweetness to it. I normally would add cream to Earl Grey but this was perfect as is. This has become my new favorite that I must keep on hand at all times!

I purchased this blend the day it went on sale, but kept saving it for a special occasion. Well, although today isn’t a special occasion as such, I just couldn’t wait any longer. So you all know I love my Earl Grey, and even if I do say so myself, I expect a lot from this blend to class it as special. Anything that’s simply average isn’t a keeper for me. I knew this was going to be anything but an ordinary blend as it was created in memory of Phyllis Hoffman and in collaboration with Hoffman Media, this tea reflects her love of Earl Grey and fruity notes, a tribute as lovely and timeless as Phyllis herself. Phyllis Earl Grey has been given a modern makeover with its exotic twist of lavender, pineapple, and calendula. This is a delightful sophisticated blend, they have just a great job with the blending, as you can really taste all the flavors. I do like my earl grey with milk and sugar and this blend really held up well to those additions. This blend is certainly a keeper for me, and one I’ll always keep on hand.

This is one of the best Earl Grey blends I have tasted!! I was introduced to it at the recent Gracious Living Celebration gathering in Williamsburg. I had to order it! It is a must try for any tea lover.

Phyllis Earl Grey has floral and fruity notes, thanks to the lavender, calendula, and pineapple ingredients, and has a lightness and zing to it that our traditional Earl Greys don't possess. This is a very special tea that somehow combines a classic favorite with some unexpected layers that work together beautifully! Delectable!
