Phyllis Earl Grey Eco

I purchased this blend the day it went on sale, but kept saving it for a special occasion. Well, although today isn’t a special occasion as such, I just couldn’t wait any longer. So you all know I love my Earl Grey, and even if I do say so myself, I expect a lot from this blend to class it as special. Anything that’s simply average isn’t a keeper for me. I knew this was going to be anything but an ordinary blend as it was created in memory of Phyllis Hoffman and in collaboration with Hoffman Media, this tea reflects her love of Earl Grey and fruity notes, a tribute as lovely and timeless as Phyllis herself. Phyllis Earl Grey has been given a modern makeover with its exotic twist of lavender, pineapple, and calendula. This is a delightful sophisticated blend, they have just a great job with the blending, as you can really taste all the flavors. I do like my earl grey with milk and sugar and this blend really held up well to those additions. This blend is certainly a keeper for me, and one I’ll always keep on hand.

This is one of the best Earl Grey blends I have tasted!! I was introduced to it at the recent Gracious Living Celebration gathering in Williamsburg. I had to order it! It is a must try for any tea lover.

This delightful blend is a classic of Earl Grey with a truly unique twist — blending in hints of lavender, pineapple and calendula. Now normally I have had variants of Earl Grey with lavender, and it is a standard for me. But it was the addition of pineapple that truly caught my attention with this blend. And up front I will say it is an ingredient that works. The unique aroma of this blend is very noticeable as soon as you open the canister. It emits a softness but also a tangy but tropical sweetness from the very first moment. A true testament to the needed addition of smell-o-vision because it is just that hypnotic.
In addition to its lovely fragrance and wonderful foundation, I like that Brook37 wanted to bring aspects of well-being with this blend, offering a holistic approach to overall health and vitality.
It is a lighter elegant tasting earl grey where the notes of lavender and bergamot flavoring are succinct. Then the tanginess and sweetness of the pineapple fills the mouth with a pleasant rush. It truly leaves a wonderful sweet aftertaste that plays on the tip of the tongue. This is a blend that would be perfect for a tea party among friends as the blend is truly unique and elegant.
