A unique tea and flavor that is unlike other green tea!

Broadway Cleopatra from Brook37 is a delicate Darjeeling whole leaf grown in cool mountain air at 5500 feet elevation. It is these growing conditions that allow it to flourish into a mild but smooth and slightly sweet Darjeeling green tea. From Brook37’s elegant tea caddy, you receive 20 large pyramid shaped tea bags whose fragrance exudes a fresh clean scent with slight notes of grassy aroma. It transcends you to a spa like atmosphere with a zen like feel. Once steeped in 180 degree water for 3-4 minutes, you will sip upon flavorful but quite delicate notes of olive and floral hints with a light astringency. It has a very light bodied and mellow flavor with refreshing in mouth feel. The olive notes appear again and its finish to lend a slightly tangy aftertaste. A truly elegant sip that provides a very relaxing and low key vibe

All of these teas are delightful and worth trying!

I steeped this for 2 minutes in water heated to 175 degrees, slightly different from the directions. It's a mellow, smooth tea with a grassy, lingering finish and took on a slight astringency as it cooled. This will go into my regular afternoon green tea rotation.

Anticipated Darjeeling tea

The Broadway tea was what I was anticipating with a Darjeeling tea: floral and a slight bit of nuttiness. Brewed at temperature for black tea.

"Tangy Olive" flavor

I did the Cleopatra/Broadway combo as I was very intrigued by the Cleopatra option and its mention of tangy olive flavor. (I love olives!). I found the Cleopara tea to be a very light bodied tea. I got a wonderful stone fruit (peach or apricot?) note with a bit of floral and could taste a whisper of the olive. A great option if you like green tea which is also the temperature setting I used for brewing.
